Denpasar (kpa.or.id) – The provincial Government of Bali are committed to follow-up on agrarian conflict resolution in the frame of agrarian reform for Agrarian Reform Priority Location (Lokasi Prioritas Reforma Agraria) that has been proposed by peasant unions/organizations members of KPA in Bali.
This commitment was conveyed by the Regional Office Chief of Bali National Land Agency, Rudi Rubiajaya in “The Workshop on the Acceleration of Land Conflicts Resolution within the Frame of Agrarian Reform in Bali Province” between KPA and Regional Government of Bali Province’s National Land Agency on Thursday, July 4th 2019 in the Regional BPN Office of Bali, Denpasar.
Other than that, Bali Provincial Government also agreed to release their assets to be transformed into the agrarian reform objects. As the follow-up of monthly meeting with KPA in order to identify the locations of LPRA that has been approved by the government. This process then will be executed through the cooperation between KPA and the government through Agrarian Reform Task Force (Gugus Tugas Reforma Agraria/GTRA) of Bali Province that has been established.
Meanwhile, on the regency level, the peasant union members of KPA will organize routine meetings with the Office of Land Issues from each regencies in Bali.
From the LPRA that has been proposed to the government, there are 981 Hectares of conflict locations in Bali. Those locations were spread in 3 Regencies among it are Buleleng, Gianyar and Klungkung.
Previously, on June 29th 2018 there has already been an agreement between the government of Bali with the peasant union members of KPA to accelerate the forest areas release in Buleleng. Meanwhile for the Sendang Pasir Village, BPN has organized field study in the locations for HGU that has been abandoned by PT Margarana and PT Dharma Jati, December 5th 2018. (Adm)
